Christie's custom upholstery sells upholstery fabrics and supplies for the household,marine(boats)and the automotive industries.if it has to do with upholstery we probably have it.we are in connection with a large upholstery supplier with locations in canada and the united states.. Marine & offshore supplies the following products to the industry: fire and blast doors, wall and ceiling panels, rudders, rescue and life boats, fire rated and marine windows, and vibration mounts and elastic support for the exhaust system. The design of the boat is good, but the interior spaces & rooms may need significant work (think: mold/mildew in the walls, poor insulation). photo attached of one of the rooms. i'm curious what some of you experts would recommend in terms of materials to use on a boat like this, especially walls/ceilings/floors..
Hello everyone, can any one tell me what that material is that they use on the ceilings in a lot of cabin boats. of what i remember it was a white panel and it had a lot of little pin holes in it. and maybe were i can find it.. Re: interior cabin ceiling coverings as others have said, welcome to the club! it is a very nasty and unpleasant job - masks are essential, both for removing and re-applying..
